I am the Acting Principal here at HEPS. My role is to lead our wonderful staff in the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum. I also work in partnership with our teachers to put into practice evidence-based strategies that improve student learning. HEPS is a wonderful place to learn where everyone ‘Aims High!’

In my role as Assistant Principal at HEPS I focus on Student Wellbeing and have the privilege of working with the whole school community. Student Wellbeing at HEPS emphasis is on proactive practises and programs to best nurture then develop each and every student so that they can aim high and flourish in every aspect at school.

My name is Mr Garvey, I am currently the Acting Assistant Principal. I have been a teacher at HEPS since 2005. I am the Level 4 co-ordinator and also lead the analysis of our whole school data and results.

Hi! My name is Mrs Holmes. I love teaching Literacy and Maths. I have been teaching since 2001 and have taught in schools overseas. In my spare time I love to walk my dog and visit my friends. I am excited to be teaching at HEPS this year.

In my spare time I love to walk my puppy called Archie and spend time being a new Auntie. I am excited to be starting my new chapter at HEPS this year.

My name is Mrs Perryman and I'm lucky enough to work with Foundation and Grade One students, teaching STEAM two days a week. I've been teaching at HEPS since 2010 and have taught in a variety of roles and levels across the school. I am very excited to be a part of this amazing new specialist subject.

My name is Ms Blenheim and I teach Level 5 at HEPS. I have been at the school since 2011. As part of level 5 I enjoy the iPad and Bike Ed programs. I am very excited that Level 5 students will again have the opportunity to be a part of the massed dancers in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular at Hisense Arena in September!

My name is Ms Blonik and I am a Level 5 teacher at HEPS. I have been at the school since 2011. Teaching Level 5 is great because I get to be involved with Inquiry projects, Phillip Island camp, Bike Ed and the 1:1 iPad program. I am also the Leader of Digital Technologies.

Hi, my name is Mrs Mountford and I teach Art to Foundation, Level 1 and Level 2 students. I have been teaching at HEPS for eight years and I love seeing the creativity that students express. I run the junior Art Club every Monday at lunch time.

Although I have been the Visual Arts Arts Co-ordinator at HEPS since 2007, I am also an experienced teacher of Japanese language and culture. Part of my role includes designing art installations around the school and running a Japanese club for students.

My name is Karen Gibson and I am very fortunate to be the Library Technician at HEPS. I have worked in libraries in Australia and Canada and I am passionate about books. I believe that books are the key to literacy and I enjoy sharing them with our students and staff anytime in the library.

Di Baxter is the Toe by Toe Coordinator, working with level 3 to level 6 students who continue to find reading challenging. She runs this reading intervention program, recruiting volunteers to work with students and regularly consulting teachers to assist students to reach their full potential.
