Miss Allard

Principal Class

I have been the Principal at HEPS since 2002. I am privileged to work with an amazing team whose main focus is the wellbeing and education of our students. HEPS is a great school community that values mutual respect and ‘aiming high’ to achieve one’s very best!

Mr Blythman

Principal Class

I am one of the Assistant Principals here at HEPS. My role is to lead our wonderful staff in the implementation of the Victorian Curriculum. I also work in partnership with our teachers to put into practice evidence-based strategies that improve student learning. HEPS is a wonderful place to learn where everyone ‘Aims High!’

It is an absolute delight to start at HEPS as an Assistant Principal in term three this year. The friendly welcome by the entire school community of students, parents and staff has helped me to make a smooth and pleasant transition to the school. I will be working with students, parents and staff, as well as supporting the programs delivered across the school to ensure all students feel happy and safe, and that they can achieve their very best.

My name is Mrs Dunlop and I teach Foundation. I have been at the school for lots and lots of years. My extra roles include being the Foundation Transition and Orientation co-ordinator and Graduate Teacher co-ordinator.

My name is Mrs Perryman and I'm lucky enough to be teaching Foundation A two days a week with Mrs Dunlop. I've been teaching at HEPS since 2010 and have enjoyed a variety of additional roles including being the Extension Program Coordinator and a part of the Student Wellbeing Committee.

My name is Mrs Wridgway and I am a Foundation teacher. I have been at the school since 2014 and enjoy the friendly and helpful nature of students at HEPS. My name is Mr Whitehouse and I am excited about starting at H.E.P.S in 2018. I am really looking forward to working as part of the Foundation team this year and helping Foundation F learn lots of new things and have plenty of fun!

My name is Miss Flynn and I am a Level 1 teacher at HEPS. I love working with all the friendly students, parents and staff. I am coordinator of the Junior School Council with Miss Gardiner and a member of the ICT Curriculum team.

Hi! My name is Mrs Latu. I am a Level 1 Teacher at HEPS. I have been at the school since 2008 and currently share teaching with Mrs Appleby. I love being in the classroom and adore my students. I am passionate about hands on learning, the environment and kindness. I love teaching at HEPS!

My name is Mrs McClare and I am new to HEPS. I am very excited to be teaching Grade 3 this year. I love reading lots and lots of different books, playing maths games and conducting science experiments. I'm looking forward to getting to know the HEPS community this year.

Hi! My name is Ms Cullinane and I am teaching Level 3. I love teaching at HEPS since the school community including students, parents and staff are passionate about our school and its success. I am currently on the School Council and am the Social and Emotional Wellbeing leader in the school.

Hi, my name is Mrs Lumsden. This year I am teaching Level Four! I love teaching at HEPS and especially enjoy its great sense of community. I love reading and making books in my classroom and participating in the multi-age days each term.

My name is Mr Garvey. I have been a teacher at HEPS since 2005. I am the Level 4 co-ordinator and also lead the analysis of our whole school data and results.

My name is Miss Lord. I have teaching at HEPS since 2011. I am lucky to be sharing a beautiful Level 4 class with Mr Garvey this year. I am passionate about student welfare and hands on learning.

Hello, my name is Miss Gardiner and I am currently a Level 4 teacher. This is my third year teaching at HEPS and I love working with all of the fantastic staff and students. This year I will be the co-coordinator of Junior School Council with Melissa Flynn.

Ms Blenheim

My name is Ms Blenheim and I teach Level 5 at HEPS. I have been at the school since 2011. I am a member of the Inquiry team and look forward to running the Bike Ed program. I am very excited that Level 5 students will again have the opportunity to be a part of the massed dancers in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular at Hisense Arena in September! I am also really pleased to be reintroducing the PMP (Perceptual Motor Program) and working with Foundation students.

My name is Ms Blonik and I am a Level 5 teacher at HEPS. I have been at the school since 2011. Teaching Level 5 is great because I get to be involved with Inquiry projects, Phillip Island camp, Bike Ed and the 1:1 iPad program. I am also the Leader of Digital Technologies.

I have enjoyed being a part of Heathmont East Primary School for a number of years as its focus has always been around student learning and engagement. My role this Year is in a Level 5 class where I have the privilege of working together with Miss Blonik and Ms Blenheim to plan and implement the curriculum consistently, as well as to develop student leadership across the Level 5.
